What are biomodels?
They are precise anatomical copies of a patient's organ, they can be digital or 3D printed. They are obtained from radiological examinations and their main function is to support the planning of complex surgeries.

How are they obtained?
They are obtained through imaging studies, mainly by Computed Axial Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance (MR), depending on the type of tissue to be visualized. Then it is processed in specialized software, finally 3D printing is carried out.
